Suzie Hall, ASID, LEED AP ID+C has been re-elected to her third term on the USGBC Idaho Chapter Board of Directors.   She has previously served two years as the Chapter’s Secretary.  “I’m excited to be able to continue contributing to transforming the built environment through sustainable design and construction.  This Board of Directors, along with Executive Director Charlie Woodruff, has a true passion and commitment to furthering our reach and efforts throughout the state of Idaho.”

St. Alphonsus Ontario has a beautiful new lobby! Crystal Arreola created a beautifully warm and inviting space through the use of natural stone, warm wood elements, copper-colored surfacing and resin infused with natural grasses. We have heard first-hand compliments from patrons and employees of the hospital how much they are enjoying their new surroundings and look forward to more projects together.

After visiting the Pinz/Wahooz site today, we are very excited for the upcoming opening in November. The space is looking great and filled with lots of color! Many more changes to come in the following weeks but we are very pleased with the results so far. Thank you Russel Corp. for constructing such a beautiful building!

It was an exciting morning last week when the groundbreaking ceremony for Mercy Housing Idaho’s senior living facility happened! We are excited to be a part of the design team, and will be furnishing the building with great furniture, art and color. Thanks to Mercy Housing, Glancey Rockwell Architects, and Hedrick Construction for making this such a great team to be a part of.

Our latest and most fun project, Wahooz Family Fun Center – Pinz Bowling is moving right along! The fun will be open to the public Thanksgiving weekend this fall. Cornerstone designed everything from the array of paint colors, light fixtures, dining & bar area, to the custom seating throughout. Can’t wait to see you all there to enjoy the space with us. Char’s last day was Friday, August 12 In thank you for all her amazing, hard work this summer, we took a trip to Ceramica and painted bowls, plates & mugs. What a great creative outlet for us designer girls! Char, thank you and good luck in your last year. You will be an amazing designer!

We are spring/summer cleaning our library – so watch out! As much as we love all of our vendors and their great samples, we just don’t have room for it all. Thank you to everyone who supports us. We appreciate you! But we would like to return your samples This is just tile and rubber base!

We would like to welcome Kresta Smout to Cornerstone Design as our new office manager! She is newly married and has lived in Boise for 8 years. She is originally from Moscow, ID and loves the outdoors. Her bubbly personality is a great addition to our team. Welcome!!!
