Suzie & Adrienne had an opportunity this last week to compete for an HGTV production, Showhouse Showdown, that is coming to Boise in September. Unfortunately, neither of them made the cut, but two local interior designers did…still to be named! We are excited to have such a huge production come to Boise to put it on the map – design wise. We know our local designers will do a fantastic job and can’t wait to see their designs! Look for more info on this production on their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/showhouseshowdown

Program first airing on August 29th on HGTV.

Great sustainable resource! Boise’s First Reclamation Program…specify that all carpet & pad be recycled through Designer Floors. They will send it to a resource that recycles the materials instead of just dumping them in a landfill. This process can contribute LEED points to your next green project, Residential or Commercial. Please contact or visit Designer Floors for more information!  (208) 342-4271,   1400 W Front St., Boise, ID 83702.

Cornerstone Design will be taking advantage of this great resource on as many future projects as we can!

We want to welcome our new summer intern, Char Stevens, a senior at University of Idaho and originally from Ohio. She’s very outdoorsy…fishing, hiking, she probably won’t answer her phone on the weekend because her cell will be out of range. Char and her husband are quickly falling in love with Boise but are not sure where they will end up after graduation. Her husband is planning on starting his PhD and has the whole country to choose from for locations! Lucky! She is very interested in healthcare design and is looking forward to learning a lot and getting involved in our projects. We are happy to have her! She is obviously not shy so please stop by and say hi to her!

Made in Italy, this mosaic tile is awesome! We just had a presentation on it today from the Masonry Center and we can’t wait to use it on a project! The brown glass tile we used on our reception desk light box feature is Bisazza. Great quality glass in different sizes & colors and amazing patterns; it can go around curves, up walls, even on commercial floors, great price point too…check it out!!
