Are you looking for a comfortable dining experience? Banquettes are fashionable and fun!

Congratulations to Natalie Miller and Crystal Arreola for winning 1st and 2nd places in the Downtown Design Challenge organized and sponsored by Designer Floors!

We are excited to present a tour of our LEED-CI Gold certified studio to local professionals today enrolled in the Sustainable Advisory Course. In addition, Suzie Hall will be doing a presentation on green building materials.

Check out the great table we designed and had locally made from reclaimed wood from Cole Elementary School.  Visit Flatbread, now open for lunch and dinner, at 615 W. Main Street in downtown Boise!

i2 Awards 2010 Suzie Hall 3Suzie Hall and the Cornerstone team received two awards at the Interior Designers of Idaho’s I2 awards ceremony on January 28th. The first award, “Best Green Project”, was for the remodel of Thornton Oliver Keller’s headquarters. The second award, “Best Residential Kitchen”, was for the Carter residence.

Crystal Arreola, ASID, LEED AP, recently passed the NCIDQ exam. More than 25,000 individuals around the world have earned the prestigious NCIDQ Certificate, the Mark of a Professional® for interior designers.

All of Cornerstone’s designers are now NCIDQ certificate holders. Congratulations Crystal!!
It is more important than ever for clients and the public to expect interior design professionals to demonstrate their competency in all areas of interior design. It is not enough for a provider of interior design services to understand just the aesthetics. The designed safety of interiors for home owners, business owners or users of public and private spaces requires much more in today’s complex world.

Earning an NCIDQ Certificate is an important milestone for any interior designer. In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace, an NCIDQ Certificate demonstrates that you are uniquely qualified through education, experience and examination to competently practice interior design.

The Veterans Administration Regional Office building project just received a LEED Gold rating! This fabulous facility features a beautiful interior palette influenced by Boise and its natural surroundings. Local and regional materials are showcased in the project, especially in the main lobby where Idaho travertine shows off its character. Thank you to everyone involved in this fabulous project and congratulations to ZGA and Larkor!

Suzie Hall is the featured speaker at Green LEEDers on Tuesday 10/13. Come tour our LEED-CI Gold studio and learn about deep green! Food and beverage provided. $5 admission. RSVP to greenleeders@gmail.com.

Tenant improvement projects offer an ideal opportunity to create high-performance spaces that safeguard the welfare of the employees, visitors and the environment. We’re excited to be part of the team for Intermountain Gas’ Green TI (hopefully LEED-certified)!
