Cole Diagnostics' move into a new office space is a fabulous opportunity to create an atmosphere that both entices and rewards employees.  It must be attractive, unique and interesting, offering visual and tactile variation.  Natural materials and warm colors work together in harmony throughout the space.   Natural plantings throughout the space will help to increase the positive effects on employees' health and well-being.

Our design concept is to visually create a meshing of the abstract skin cell with the modern, cutting edge advances of Cole Diagnostics' work.  The abstract cell form will begin with a visual texture in the reception area, morph into scales on a fish, be enhanced by water, and then be highlighted with LED lighting.  And because dermapathology is very dynamic, this unique design approach will be carried throughout the space with digital imaging, materials and finishes, and also include a built-in LCD screen to invigorate employees with the essence of their work. 

Daylighting strategies will be a key to the interior design, as will functional, efficient and attractive artificial lighting.  The windows and other possible daylighting will offer a connection to the outdoors.  The artificial lighting will be strategically placed to enhance functionality while also highlighting art and other unique features.  It will also create an enhanced working environment when staff is working at night. 

We reviewed specific work requirements and flow, addressing each individual employee's current and future needs.  Each individual private office has its own flavor conveyed through furniture, paint colors, lighting and art.  Most importantly, the process was fun, offering unique and creative options to you that are also budget and environmentally responsive!
