The interior design palette for this project focuses intently on Boise 's beautiful surroundings, including the foothills and the Boise river. These natural surrounding elements are vital to those who live here, and will help give Veterans and employees a sense of surrounding as they enter the building.
The blue and green palette, anchored by warm and light natural earth tones, represents these Idaho elements, further enhancing the natural characteristics of the materials used throughout the space. Travertine quarried from Southeastern Idaho was used throughout the main lobby and corridor to embrace the solid character of the Idaho territory.
Adding interior accents to the existing architecture carries a dynamic theme throughout the interior space, including beautiful stone tile pebbles, unique and random floor patterns and accents, as well as dignified finishes and lighting elements. This project is LEED-NC registered, and the interior finish package is truly an example of healthy and high performance interiors.
