Heather Needham

NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED GA

Interior Designer

Heather is an interior designer that passionately creates interior spaces aimed at improving the daily lives of those that interact within them. Her attention to detail creates an experience within a space, aiding the betterment of the user’s daily lives. Whether the goal is one of excitement, relaxation, or comfort, rest assured she’ll achieve it during the design process. Her professional experience provides her with intimate knowledge of hospitality, healthcare, residential, retail and commercial design spaces.

Heather’s dream is being able to use her design degree to generate positive change in the lives of those less fortunate. For her senior capstone project, she focused on helping the homeless population and during her research, she learned that the current design of homeless facilities did not provide safe environments for the tenants within them. To this day, she continues to search for an opportunity where the focus is to re-purpose the grounds for a group home for those working to get back on their feet.

Heather is a graduate, with her Associates in Applied Science in Interior Design from Suffolk County Community College in 2009, and a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. She has continued to educate herself following her undergrad program and has since earned her LEED Green Associate and NCIDQ certifications, with her WELL AP next up on her list. On her down time, she enjoys visiting the beach, spending time with family, and traveling as much as possible.
